As part of the Little Purple House campaign, we are challenging each person who finds a house—or learns about our campaign--to commit to taking at least one action to help!

Each member organization of the Murphy Center Partner Council has identified a specific challenge that will support our shared mission of making homelessness rare, short-lived and non-recurring.

Homeward Alliance

Take the Little Purple House challenge and become a new recurring monthly donor! Sign up through CO Gives Day starting November 1st and your donation will be matched.

Want something more hands on? Host your very own pop-up gear drive! These front porch drives are easy to organize and fun to do. Identify one or two items from our most needed donations list, then let your community know you'll be collecting these items for a week. Items are dropped off on your front porch throughout the week and can be brought to the Murphy Center at the end of your drive.

This year, Outreach Fort Collins is challenging those of you who find a house or learns about the campaign to donate to any one of the eight independent, non-profit organizations working together as a part of this Murphy Center Partner Council!

You could also hold a supply drive. An in-kind donation of Hot Hands Brand Hand Warmers or Toe Warmers would be enormously helpful as we distribute this more than anything during the winter months!

Take The Little Purple House Challenge with The Matthews House by volunteering with one of our programs, drop-in resource center, or by mentoring our youth participants. By volunteering your time and skills, you not only support our programs but also form meaningful connections with individuals and families in our community. Join us in creating positive change and building a brighter future for those we serve.

In-kind donations for frequently needed items like gently used coats, hats, gloves, and toiletries is also a great way to show your support. Contact us today to learn more about how you can get involved with The Matthews House.

Fort Collins Rescue Mission and Harvest Farm

Everyday Harvest Farm is helping men through our New Life Program. Located in Wellington, the rehabilitation program equips participants to overcome challenges and develop a renewed sense of hope and identity. These men get counseling services through our staff all while operating a 100-acre farm! Join us today by serving a meal and helping the men find a New Life filled with hope and joy!
